GOLD 631 Wed Happy TG Day...

Here are a weekly and daily on gold your viewing pleasure. My read is the A B C legs in mining stocks are complete and we are headed to D targets and beyond.

I did a long term "manual" study on gold last night and have a target of $850 by Spring 2007. Last time I did the manual study I projected gold to the 730's. I will have to dig out that study and post a shot of it.

Using a print out of gold from www.netdania.com I used simple trend lines and projected the lines into the future. Usually the upper lines are broken to the upside as in the run to 725. I am fully invested with a small position in QID all-be-it under h2O... the rest of the portfolio is performing well. Still long GG 2x position, full position in CCJ along with some calls..

Today my BUY's are MFN VGZ and NXG... these have gotten hit for various reasons, "Mostly Capital Raises" along with the commensurate uncertanity = opportunity. As usual this for entertainment purposes only.

CCJ Hidden Pivot Study

Here are a couple of chart of CCJ which triggered a buy / add via hitting 31.70 . The low on Friday the 18 th was 30.90 and it appears the stock reversed direction today. I believe they will get the mine working again.

Gold 607 - Overnight View

Gold continues higher this evening (it's 9:20 pm Alaska time and 1:20 am in New York. Looking at thist chart notice the horizontal line (current price) is testing the horizontal support/resistance area. We have also crossed the 50 unit moving average heading for the upper bollenger band. In shorter timeframes the price is very sensitive to the BBand. For traders this can be very useful.
